The Super Villain Shopping Channel

The reputation of Bruce "the Hack" Harlick is legedary, at least according to Chris Avellone. Still, The Supervillain Shopping Channel is proof our fearless line editor is protecting the consumer from junk. If you would like to suffer through this writeup, click here. Who knows you might get a scenario idea out of this crap.

Winzler Publications

This organization was my first APAzine submission, appearing in Haymaker, Eroica, and Clockwork Hero. It would go on to be rejected by Adventurer's Club because it was too long. Later, when AC started to grow, they asked for it to be resubmitted, then never used it. As if it hadn't had a hard enough time, it was accepted by Shadis, who eventually lost it. I'm beginning to think nobody liked it and they were just being polite. I could submit it somewhere else, but I'd rather give it to you, for FREE! Just click here.

Comic Book Science

Although this appeared in Eroica under the "Big Damage LTD" label, it was done for an APAzine, so I'll present it here. This essay expresses my opinions on how authors should treat comic book science. If you're interested, click here.

The Hero System is a game system put out by Hero Games and can found in games such as Champions, Danger International, Justice Incorporated, Robot Warriors, Star Hero, and Fantasy Hero. First appearing on the market around 1980, the Hero System is innovative in its approach to character generation. Hero Games eventually produced the Fuzion game system with R. Talsorian Games. Although I tried several times to adopt Fuzion in place of the Hero System, it never worked to my satisfaction, so if you're into Fuzion you'll have to translate things on your own.
